27 nov 2023 · A few years ago, I was going through a set of DVDs of highlights from Caesar’s Hour, the all-star variety show hosted by Sid Caesar on NBC for three seasons from fall of 1954 to spring of 1957. I came across an incredible clip, but it was only an excerpt: four minutes of Benny Goodman playing “Sing! Sing! Sing!”
