Sigismund Kęstutaitis ( Lithuanian: Žygimantas I Kęstutaitis, Polish: Zygmunt Kiejstutowicz; 1365 – 20 March 1440) was the Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1432 to 1440. Sigismund was his baptismal name, while his pagan Lithuanian birth name is unknown.

Sigismund Kęstutaitis war der jüngste bekannte Sohn des Großfürsten Kęstutis und dessen Frau Birutė. Sein Geburtsjahr ist unbekannt. Sigismund Kęstutaitis war verheiratet mit einer Tochter von Andrej Odincewicz. Als einziger Sohn ist bekannt 1. Michael Bolesław (um 1390–1452), Fürst von Kiew, Starodub(1440–1441, 1448) als Tochter 1. Jadwiga 1416 heiratete er ein zweites Mal eine namentlich nicht bekannte Ehefrau ( –vor 1434).

The Battle of Wiłkomierz (see other names) took place on September 1, 1435, near Ukmergė in the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. With the help of military units from the Kingdom of Poland, the forces of Grand Duke Sigismund Kęstutaitis soundly defeated Švitrigaila and his Livonian allies.
