Lucinda Gayle Williams [1] (* 26. Januar 1953 in Lake Charles, Louisiana) ist eine US-amerikanische Roots-Rock - und Alternative Country - Musikerin. Erst 20 Jahre nach ihrem Debüt gelang ihr 1998 mit dem Album Car Wheels on a Gravel Road der kommerzielle Durchbruch.
This a first class collection of mostly country orientated music. Several songs are also written by Gilmore. The duet with Lucinda Williams on 'Reunion' is outstanding as is the rerecording of the Butch Hancock song 'Just a Wave'. It is somewhat wrong to name specific tracks as they are all good. This is truly a fabulous recording, great musicians.
