St Benedict’s Catholic College serves Christian families throughout north-east Essex, striving to promote the values of our Christian faith throughout our daily life. Admissions. St Benedict’s Catholic College is a Voluntary Aided, Catholic School situated in the Diocese of Brentwood and is maintained by the Essex Local Authority. Applications are welcomed from parents who wish their children to receive a Christian education.
It was established in 1971 by the merger of St. Benedict's College (founded 1858) for men and Mount St. Scholastica College (founded 1923) for women. It is located on bluffs overlooking the Missouri River , northwest of Kansas City, Missouri .
