1 mag 2024 · Over the last decade, St Catharine’s has consistently been amongst the top three colleges in terms of Geography exam results, and has often been the top college! The College has three Geography Fellows, teaching both human and physical geography. The current Fellows in Geography are Professor Ron Martin, Dr Ian Willis and Dr Ivan Scales.

10 mag 2024 · St Catharine’s College has been committed strongly to the study of medicine for centuries. A former student and Fellow of the college, Dr John Addenbrooke (1680 – 1719), founded Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge, which today continues to bear his name and forms the core of one of the largest biomedical campuses in Europe.

As with many other Cambridge colleges, St Catharine’s has a sister college in ‘the other place’ – Worcester College, Oxford, first established in 1283 as Gloucester College. Down the road from the ever-busy King’s Parade lie the gates of St Catharine’s. Founded originally as Katharine Hall, now known as St. Catz.
