It was in that capacity that she first met and worked with “Dr. Bob” Smith, the alcoholic-physician co-founder of A.A., the popular 12-step program established in 1935. St. Thomas police were called to the disturbance on Talbot Street near Elgin Street around 10 p.m. on Monday. When officers arrived they found two people suffering from unspecified injuries.
