The USS Farragut makes first contact with the Solonai, an ancient race of scholars and historians. A power surge in the transporter sends Captain Carter and the landing party to America's past.
Mission Summary: Shortly after Captain Carter arrives on board his new command, he is called off to planet Diotama III to investigate the disappearance of a Federation Commodore, and a possible secret Klingon weapons facility.
