Stein Eriksen (11 December 1927 – 27 December 2015) was an alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist from Norway. Following his racing career, he was a ski school director and ambassador at various resorts in the United States.

27 dic 2015 · Biography. Stein Eriksen emerged on the national scene in 1947, aged 19, when he won the downhill and combination at the Holmenkollen Kandahar event. He was Norwegian Champion six times in the period 1949-54. His international breakthrough came in the World Championships at Aspen, Colorado in 1950, when he won the bronze medal in slalom.
