  3. 24 gen 2023 · Multi-instrumentalist Steve Peregrine Took choked to death on a cocktail cherry in 1980. Took formed the band along with Bolan in 1967 but left a few years later because of drug problems. The only surviving member from their heyday lineup is drummer, Bill Legend.
