Surfer Rosa is the debut studio album by the American alternative rock band Pixies, released in March 1988 on the British label 4AD. It was produced by Steve Albini. Surfer Rosa contains many of the elements of Pixies' earlier output, including Spanish lyrics and references to Puerto Rico.

2 ago 2018 · It’s Surfer Rosa is a forthcoming 30th anniversary deluxe edition that brings together Pixies‘ eight-track mini-album Come On Pilgrim and the band’s full-length album Surfer Rosa. Come On Pilgrim was originally issued in September 1987, its eight tracks taken (in remixed form) from the so-called Purple Tape (which contained 17 early demos).
Come On Pilgrim is the debut EP by the American alternative rock band Pixies, released on September 28, 1987 on 4AD. Produced by Gary Smith, the release consists of eight tracks from a seventeen-song recording session that the band had recorded at Fort Apache Studios in March 1987.
Surfer Rosa (1 to 14) recorded and mixed at Q-Division, Boston, Massachusetts, U.S.A. Come On Pilgrim (15 to 22) recorded at Fort Apache, Roxbury, Ma in March, 1987. Sleeve Art Direction and Design at 23 Envelope.
