Edward James Hughes, conosciuto come Ted Hughes (Mytholmroyd, 17 agosto 1930 – Londra, 28 ottobre 1998), è stato un poeta e scrittore inglese. Considerato uno dei migliori poeti della sua generazione, Hughes fu Poet Laureate in Inghilterra dal 1984 fino alla sua morte nel 1998.
