I recently learned about an interview that Dale Dye from Soldier of Fortune Magazine did in 1984 prior to the release of The Terminator in theatres that October. u/thejackal3245 clued me in on it, so, naturally, I picked up a copy of that issue and scanned the relevant pages in for all to see.
And in the end when the "terminator-Puppet" stares out of the truck. Krausfadrs solution is here again a darker picture and zooming but that workes for me quite well at this point (especially because I only used the krausfadr-frames of the close-up of the Terminator and cut back to the Open Matte when the camera is on the outside of the truck.))
14 gen 2018 · Arguably the greatest fight of Robots (or part man for one of them), Robocop vs Terminator is still quite active especially after the infamous Robocop vs Terminator death battle where Robocop won which i agree, but i will do a detailed analysis on a battle Note: these are movie/TV versions, no comics and this is Terminator T800 Stats:
28 feb 2022 · My original Terminator from the larger collection had a main menu. It's puzzling why they didn't just use the same main menu when they authored this disc. Major cut corners on this release but at least they did a fantastic job with the video and audio re-master.
22 mar 2019 · Terminator: The Burning Earth was probably one of my favorites growing up. Terminator Salvation 2029 and 1984 were excellent. I know some people didn't like Salvation, but those comics were solid. Pretty sure Joss Whedon's brother wrote them. Hunters and Killers was excellent, takes place in Russia.
Seeing the Terminator come out of that truck wreckage as an endoskeleton scared the shit out of me as an 8-year-old. But I think that's why Terminator 1 holds a special place in my heart (even though Judgement Day seems to be the fan favourite). I really like those horror elements, and the Tech Noir scene is one of my favourites in any film.
Terminator: Salvation is easily the worst Terminator movie. I'd bet money that Christian Bale has a pallet of Terminator: Salvation Blu-Rays in his garage, and he lets visitors take one if they want. Genisys was fine, it was an interesting idea. However, Emilia Clark was a so-so Sarah Connor and Jai Courtney wasn't a good Reese.
Calling “Terminator” Kyle Reese’s story is I think nearly on the mark, but not quite. Kyle is not the hero, Kyle is the hero’s mentor. It’s not the Terminator’s story, either. That’s just an implacable antagonistic external force. The Terminator itself does not grow over the series, it only has the illusion of continuity.
20 mag 2024 · Terminator: Zero (TZ) seems to borrow elements from T1 and T2. It throws a soldier back to 1997, just when Skynet goes online (according to the first two films). It seems to take on an almost horror-like approach, much like we see in T1.
