Raramente capita d'imbattersi in film tanto ben strutturati e sceneggiati con altrettanta cura. THANK YOU FOR SMOKING è un meccanismo (quasi) perfetto, che si avvale di un Aaron Eckhart in stato di grazia e clamorosamente in parte e di una regia (Jason Reitman) che scandisce mirabilmente i tempi non disdegnando fermi immagine e sovrapposizioni grafiche una volta tanto pertinenti.
Il film Thank You for Smoking del 2006 è diretto da Jason Reitman, trae ispirazione dall’omonimo romanzo di Christopher Buckley. Protagonista è Nick Naylor, interpretato da Aaron Eckhart , un lobbista dotato di una straordinaria abilità oratoria, che lavora per la Big Tobacco.
