Directed by Alan Bromly. The original black and white 1954 film with the colour version as a bonus feature, fully restored and with optional subtitles. A beautiful blonde angel, (Diane Cilento), arrives in The Angel, Islington on a goodwill mission to soften the heart of pawnbroker Joshua Webman, (played by Felix Aylmer).

Hoping to win some money to redeem her harp from Mr. Webman, the Angel goes to the dogs. Dave W places the track as that at Harringay, Green Lanes, London N4 but it doesn't appear to help in identifying the following two captures. (RL)
The unimportant fantasy was the first film assignment for Diane Cilento, whose career would later briefly be eclipsed by that of her then-husband Sean Connery. It's not likely we would have remembered Cilento at all had she stuck to such disposable fare as The Angel Who Pawned Her Harp.
