The Cake Sale was a collective of mostly Irish musical artists, with Swedish singer-songwriter Nina Persson of the Cardigans and Australian musician Nick Seymour of Crowded House. The collective was formed in 2006 by Brian Crosby, formerly of Bell X1.

Originally released in Ireland in November 2006, The Cake Sale is a double platinum album in that country. Ireland’s Metro Life raved “…a quite dazzling showcase of the Irish music scene.” while Hot Press went on to write, “…this is the album other charity records aspire to be.”
The Cake Sale are a collective of musical artists formed by Brian Crosby who released a self titled album in 2006. All proceeds of the record including all publishing royalties benefit the charity Oxfam. The record achieved double platinum sales in Ireland and was subsequently released in Europe and the United States on the Yep Roc label.
