Gavin McGregor Rossdale (born 30 October 1965) is a British musician, best known as the lead singer and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Bush. He helped form Bush in 1992; on the band's separation in 2002, he became the lead singer and guitarist for Institute and later began a solo career.
The Complex is the second studio album by Blue Man Group, released in 2003. It is a concept album that takes place in two separate worlds: the world of the rock concert, as in the song "Time to Start," and the alienating world of the modern urban workplace, as in the songs "Sing Along," "The Current", and "The Complex."

The Complex explores how these computer connections rewire our relationships. The main character in the song lives underground and dreams of a day where he is transported to a better place. "This song takes place in the subterranean portion of the urban complex," Blue Man Group explained in a "song bio" they released for the album.
