Mr. Wonderbird protects two lovers who escape from an evil king who wants the girl for himself. Exceptional animation for all ages, notable for its visually stunning, expressionistic graphic detail. The English-language dubbing features the voices of Peter Ustinov, Claire Bloom, and Denholm Elliott.
Synopsis. A chimney sweep and his beloved shepherd girl come to life out of paintings in a ruthless King's private quarters. The King pursues the pair because he has his own nefarious plans for the pretty shepherd girl. The two young lovers are aided in their escape from the tyrant by Wonderbird.
