The Fiction Makers plot. A publisher wants to keep the identity of his best writer a secret and he asks Simon Templar aka The Saint to protect him (actually her). A crime organization has realized the writers' ideas, they kidnap Simon and the writer and think he is the writer and she is his secretary. They must stage a major criminal act.
