  2. The Harrodian School is a private day school in Barnes, South-west London. Formerly the site of Harrods Sports Club, the original premises have been extended and converted for educational purposes. The school opened in September 1993 with 65 pupils; by 2011, the roll had grown to 925.

  3. Our ambition is to make the Harrodian Pre-Prep a school where children aged from 4-7+ can learn and grow in an informal, stimulating and friendly setting. We want it to be a place that boys and girls enjoy coming to and where every day can be a joyful, positive and creative experience.

  4. Our history. Harrodian was founded in 1993. Before that our riverside location on the south bank of the Thames in Barnes served as a farm, a private residence and a sports club. This time line charts the history of our beautiful site as well as Harrodian's growth into maturity over its first quarter century as a school.
