The "twist" in the film was beyond ridiculous and pretty much just felt like a cheat. Cap it with an incredibly stupid ending, and The Hoarder goes from a somewhat below-average horror film to a must-avoid-at-all-costs stinker. The early attempts in the film to establish atmosphere are about the only positive things I can say about it.

24 lug 2017 · The concept of a horror film set around a storage locker did not seem terribly inspiring. The only other film to do so before this, the also British-made alien monster movie Storage 24 (2012), had made a singularly unexceptional showing out of the material. That said, The Hoarder quickly dispenses with any preconceptions that one might have.
