In this dark comedy, Sarah Lewis stars as a prostitute simply known as "Hooker", who questions whether she wants to continue on in her current lifestyle. Meanwhile, a young scientist (Brian Lewis), has created his perfect invention: an artificial heart made entirely of gold that runs on electricity.
Lomax quickly befriends most of the hotel's bargirls, but is fascinated by the archetypal "hooker with a heart of gold", Suzie Wong. Wong previously introduced herself to him as Wong Mee-ling, a rich virgin whose father owns four houses and more cars than she can count, and who later pretends not to recognise him at the hotel.
