  2. The John Fisher School is a Roman Catholic voluntary-aided boys' faith school based at Peaks Hill, Purley, Croydon, Surrey, England. The school is located in and funded by the London Borough of Sutton. It occupies the former site of the 19th-century prep school Falconbury School.

  3. School History. The John Fisher School was founded in 1929 by The Most Reverend Peter Amigo, Archbishop-Bishop of Southwark; the original premises were at Duppas Hill in Croydon. In its first year, the School community consisted of twenty students and four members of teaching staff led by the first Headmaster of the School, Canon Byrne.
