Set in the early Joseon Dynasty, it depicts Sejong the Great and Shinmi as main characters in creating Hangul. [1]

Review by Geoffrey Broomer ★★★½. One of two films released in 2019 dealing with the reign of 15th century Joseon King, Sejong the Great. This depicts his creation of the Hangul – Korean alphabet – and publication of the Hunminjeongeum to spread it to the common people.
