At first I dismissed this film as banal-sounding and cheaply animated, but at last I gave it a chance, and I'm glad I did. The Legend of Sarila is an earnest tale of friendship and courage inspired by Inuit folklore and culture. Set in 1910, it tells the story of three young Inuit who go on a mystical quest to find food for their struggling clan.
