The Limeliters are an American folk music group, formed in July 1959 by Louis Gottlieb (bass), Alex Hassilev (baritone), and Glenn Yarbrough (tenor). The group was active from 1959 until 1965, when they disbanded. After a hiatus of sixteen years Yarbrough, Hassilev, and Gottlieb reunited and began performing as The Limeliters again.
A Park Ranger and Criminal Investigator in National Parks and Public Lands throughout the western U.S.A. for 30 years, since 2008 he has toured coast-to-coast and overseas in over one hundred shows a year in house concerts, listening rooms, theatres and festivals. Daniel grew up on traditional folk music and the folk songs of the 60s.
