7 ott 2015 · Con questi elementi, The Lobster, parla della violenza di un sistema che vuole sapere e normare ogni aspetto della vita quotidiana delle persone. E la sua stretta - seppur didascalica e legata a movimenti circoscritti e a continue frenate che non abbracciano mai la riflessione più ampia, narrativamente parlando - arriva come un pugno fortissimo nello stomaco di chi guarda.

26 ott 2015 · The lobster non è un film surreale, anche se spesso cita Luis Buñuel nelle atmosfere e nelle inquadrature (strane cerimonie danzanti, gente elegante che cammina in campagna). Se non fosse un film occidentale, sarebbe un drammone coreano. È un film insolito, concepito come una tragedia in un contesto distopico e alterato, ma quello che mostra, data la premessa assurda, è verosimile.
