The Queen's College is a constituent college of the University of Oxford, England. [2] The college was founded in 1341 by Robert de Eglesfield in honour of Philippa of Hainault, queen of England. [3] It is distinguished by its predominantly neoclassical architecture, primarily dating from the 18th century.

About the college. The Queen’s College is a close-knit, friendly college located on the High Street in central Oxford. We are able to offer accommodation to undergraduates for all years of their degree, and we boast one of the most beautiful and well-stocked libraries among Oxford colleges.
The Queen’s College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford. It was founded in 1341. The College is a registered charity (no. 1142553). Location. The College is situated on the High Street in the centre of Oxford. Governance. The Provost and various Fellows form the Governing Body of the the College.
During the eighteenth-century Queen’s experienced the same decline as most colleges, and in the early Victorian period the same revival and reform. Since the late nineteenth-century, it has developed a strong academic reputation, while solid endowments and wise management have made it secure and prosperous.
