Her Majesty became the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, after seven decades of service to the people of the United Kingdom, the Realms and the Commonwealth.
The Platinum Jubilee Pageant Commissioning artists and communities from around the UK and Commonwealth, and more than 5,000 military personnel, performers, key workers and volunteers will unite centre-stage to tell the story of The Queen’s 70-year reign and our transforming society at the Platinum Jubilee Pageant on Sunday 5th June 2022.
The pageant was a major event of the 2022 Platinum Jubilee celebrations for Queen Elizabeth II. It took place on 5 June 2022, a Sunday and the last day of the extended Jubilee weekend. The money for the event, which was estimated to cost £15 million, was raised from corporate sponsors and individuals.
