A spy thriller involving an American who is enlisted by British intelligence to replace one of its recently murdered agents and smash a ring of blackmailers -- James Bond style -- headed by a nefarious figure known as Scorpio.
The movie was terrible. DFvideodiary. Alex Cord is a cheap spy in London (actually the WB backlot) and Shirley Eaton is the spy-gal who teases him. Not much in the way of action or international intrigue, despite the plot requiring Cord to infiltrate a waiter mafia that blackmail people. Yes, that's right, a waiter mafia.
