Tony Roper's fantastic play is set during 1950's Glasgow at new year's eve in a public washhouse (a steamie). The main characters, 4 women; Dolly, Magret, Doreen, and Mrs. Culfeathers, rush through their washing in tie to get home for the bells. The Scottish charm and wit runs throughout.
