I can’t recommend this production. From the drunk Cristopher Sly throwing off slur after slur, to Petruchio’s shouting his lines, to the actors looking too similar to each other for the role switches, the play is overwhelmed. Deborah Hay was great spitting fire but became a blank canvas during the taming.
