4 ago 2000 · A 10-year-old piano prodigy, against the wishes of his instructor, dreams of becoming a jazz pianist. This interest leads him to find a mentor in a famous jazz sax player who bonds with the boy because of their shared interest in jazz and because they each suffer from Tourette's Syndrome.
"The Tic Code" tells the story of Miles, an extraordinary gifted twelve year-old who lives with his single mother, Laura, and shares a fierce love of jazz with his best friend Todd. Miles is distinguished for his musical brilliance yet also set apart by a neurological disorder.
