The Verdict: Directed by David Eady. With Cec Linder, Zena Marshall, Nigel Davenport, Paul Stassino. Joe Armstrong, a big-time racketeer, is deported back to Great Britain from America to find himself facing a murder rap for a killing he had committed twenty years before.
Plot Summary. Immediately after a man is hanged for killing Kendall’s aunt, Grodman, who was responsible for the man’s conviction, learns the man was innocent. Grodman is forced to resign from Scotland Yard and is replaced by Buckley. Grodman and Buckley detest one another.
