is a limited series of specials in The Walking Dead's TV universe, exploring the journeys of the series' most celebrated characters.
Spotlighting Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus), Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride), Maggie Rhee (Lauren Cohan) and Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), each episode of The Walking Dead: Origins charts the story of the zombie apocalypse from the point of view of a single character and features new interviews and narrations from the actors that portray these iconic characters, interwoven with clips from the most pivotal moments of their journeys so far. Each episode will also feature an exclusive sneak peek of Season 11. Accompanying each special will be a "Best Of" collection, featuring fan-favorite episodes for each character.
Best Of
is a collection of episodes spotlighting fan-favorite characters of The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead. Released July 8, 2021 as part of the month-long Comic-Con on AMC+ package, the special playlist launched with the best of Morgan (Lennie James), and collects episodes spotlighting the four characters featured in the AMC+ exclusive special series The Walking Dead: Origins. In anticipation of the series premiere of The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, on February 1, 2024 AMC released Best Of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and Best Of Michonne (Danai Gurira), featuring a look back at their biggest moments with collections of iconic episodes from The Walking Dead.

•Though The Best of The Walking Dead collection featured Morgan Jones, there was no accompanying The Walking Dead: Origins special for the character. Morgan Jones (Lennie James) is part of the cast of Fear the Walking Dead and is the only character whose collection contains episodes from both The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead.
•Each character's Best Of collection was revealed along with the release of their The Walking Dead: Origins special. Additionally, each character's The Walking Dead: Origins special is included as part of their corresponding Best Of collection.
