8 set 2008 · The Wrestler significa puntare su un bravissimo Rourke, martoriato dal tempo e dagli eccessi (e Aronofsky lo sa benissimo inquadrandolo di continuo, senza pietà ma anche senza troppa retorica). Però il resto è girato con sufficienza, fatta eccezione per due momenti belli amari: l'esordio dietro il bancone del fresco e la sala dove le vecchie glorie fanno merchandising.
