Some folk think it is all men and don't want you to tell them that it's not. Or at least they think that if you're making any argument in favour of men then you're showing solidarity with men instead of the victims. They are quite happy for all men to be lumped with the few abusers. I'd tend to agree with the first argument more than the second.
