In this animated sci-fi spectacular based on a Jean “Moebius” Giraud story, physicist Simon Weir (voiced by Mark Hamill) is trapped light years away on the planet Raphicca. Now his son, Jac, will traverse time to find him.
I am a fan of the drawing of Moebius and hence had some expectations for this movie. The animation and the fantasy world it depicted certainly didn't disappoint. Story wise and the voice-'acting' though did. No matter how pretty the pictures might be, without a good story or acting things fall short. And boy did this one fall short...
