The Red Book was an album presented to Mrs. E S Niblett (teacher at Tollington Prep. and Tetherdown Primary School 1942 - 1965) on her retirement, in the style of "This is your Life". This, and other photos and documents, have been donated to the OTS electronic archives by her son, Peter Niblett (at Tolly 1942 - 1949).
Tolly History. Tollington existed for more than 85 years, so it's not surprising that the OT archives hold an enormous amount of information. There are stories of Muswell Hill before the arrival of the the cars which now line every kerb and there are tragic accounts of ex-pupils killed in France within eighteen months of leaving school.

Tollington School. Our history began in 1879, when William Brown (pictured) founded Tollington School (also pictured below). Tollington School went through several changes, before becoming a mixed grammar school in 1958. You can find out more information about Tollington School on their website .
