Un Certain Regard (lett. "Un certo sguardo") è una sezione della selezione ufficiale del Festival di Cannes, fondata da Gilles Jacob nel 1978 per riunire tre sezioni fuori concorso create nel 1975 dal precedente delegato generale Maurice Bessy, Les yeux fertiles, L'air du temps e Le passé composé.
Un Certain Regard ( French pronunciation: [œ̃ sɛʁtɛ̃ ʁəɡaʁ], meaning 'a certain glance') is a section of the Cannes Film Festival 's official selection. It is run at the salle Debussy, parallel to the competition for the Palme d'Or. This section was introduced in 1978 by Gilles Jacob .
