An untitled fourth Bad Boys film is an upcoming American buddy cop action comedy film directed by Adil & Bilall. It is the sequel to Bad Boys for Life (2020) and the fourth installment in the Bad Boys franchise.

In April 2022, it was reported that development for the fourth film was being put on hold in light of the incident with Will Smith slapping Chris Rock at the 2022 Academy Awards ceremony. However, the following month Sony head chairman Tom Rothman confirmed the fourth film was still in development, despite the previous report.

After years of no news and slow development, updates on Bad Boys: Ride or Die began to come much faster in 2023, and the movie even set an ambitious release date. Sony has now scheduled theBad Boys: Ride or Die release date as June 7, 2024, a full week earlier than its originally announced release date.

Though details about the movie's plot were largely kept under wraps, the trailer for Bad Boys: Ride or Die laid out the entire story rather clearly. Mike and Marcus are rocked when it is revealed that their former Captain was in cahoots with drug kingpins. Determined to prove that the late Captain Howard is innocent, the buddy cop duo set out and uncover a massive conspiracy within the police force. This makes them prime suspects, and the pair become fugitives while trying to clear their names.
