This work, produced by Daniel Lanois and Mark Howard, is a balladry-like extension of her then neo-cabaret persona, interpreting songs by herself and legendary songwriters of her generation, like Pink Floyd 's Roger Waters, Leonard Cohen and the songwriting duo Elton John and Bernie Taupin.

External links. Roger Waters discography. Roger Waters 's primary instrument is the electric bass guitar. He briefly played a Höfner bass but replaced it with a Rickenbacker RM-1999/4001S, until around 1970 when he switched to Fender Precision basses. He often plays bass using a pick but is also known to play fingerstyle.

Vagabond Ways features songs Faithful co-wrote but also covers of others written by Leonard Cohen, Elton John, Bob Dylan, Roger Waters and Lanois. When released in 1999, Vagabond Ways was not the success that it deserved to be , but it holds up 23 years after it was initially released.
