Valentine McCallum (born 10 October 1963) is an American guitarist and singer-songwriter. Career. McCallum has toured with, and served as a studio musician for many well-known musicians.
McCallum and Ireland had three sons: Paul, Jason, and Valentine (Val). Jason, who was adopted, died from an accidental drug overdose in 1989. Val McCallum is a guitarist, playing on and off with Jackson Browne since 2002, Lucinda Williams from 2011 to 2016, and many others. McCallum was also a member of the comic-country band, Jackshit.
