Il prezzo d’ingresso al parco è di 15$ per vettura (10 $ per le auto targate Nevada). Ricordate che è uno State Park, per cui non potrete usare la tessera parchi. Se siete campeggiatori, tenete conto che è possibile pernottare nelle aree autorizzate al prezzo di 25$ a notte (20$ per le auto del Nevada) + 10$ a notte per gli allacciamenti. La Valley...
Ci sono sostanzialmentedue scenic byway all’interno del parco, che ci permettono di suddividerlo in due zone in modo abbastanza preciso: la Valley of Fire Highway (che lo taglia orizzontalmente) e la Mouse’s Tank Road(che lo taglia verticalmente).
Se invece volete spendere un po’ più di tempo camminando tra le rocce rosse della Valley of Fire, ecco tre sentieri abbastanza semplice caldamente consigliati. Valley of Fire State Park is a public recreation and nature preservation area covering nearly 46,000 acres (19,000 ha) located 16 miles (26 km) south of Overton, Nevada. The state park derives its name from red sandstone formations, the Aztec Sandstone, which formed from shifting sand dunes 150 million years ago.
