Vares gets dangerously close to the “Council” – a secret gentlemen’s club, the head of which is “The Sheriff”. To the members of the Council, human life is cheap.
A year later, Vares is hired to investigate exactly this case. He finds evidence that the criminal shadow world of the Finnish west coast is dominated by an ominous godfather. He is called the sheriff - nobody knows him and nobody talks about him.
Synopsis. Jussi Vares find two bodies of Turku outskirts of women, which has been shot in the head, and the man whose body is full of runes similar to the cuts, which suggest that the murder would have been part of the dark ritual. A year later, Vares is hired to investigate these homicides.
