25 mag 2001 · Set in the fictional village of "Ogw" in the valleys of south-east Wales. After her father Jack suffers a stroke Annie Mary Pugh is forced to take care of him but uses the circumstances to emancipate herself and find the courage to sing once again.
VERY ANNIE-MARY. When Annie Mary was sixteen she won the Eisteddfod, the most prestigious cultural festival in Wales. She was offered a scholarship to study singing in Milan, but she wasn't able to accept it because her mother was dying and her father needed her help at home.
