"Viva la vida" is a Spanish phrase that translates into English as "long live life", "live the life", or simply "live life".

ADMIN MOD. Coldplay sucks now…but damn their first two albums are incredible. Coldplay has no shortage of hate in internet music circles. And honestly, a lot of it over the past decade or so is justified. They’ve consistently put out, post Viva la Vida, some truly bland and generic work designed to appeal to the broadest possible audience.
