Walther Rathenau (29 September 1867 – 24 June 1922) was a German industrialist, writer and politician who served as foreign minister of Germany from February to June 1922. Rathenau was the son of Emil Rathenau, a prominent Jewish businessman and founder of the electrical engineering company Allgemeine Elektrizitäts-Gesellschaft (AEG).

Industriale, filosofo, uomo di stato tedesco, nato a Berlino il 29 settembre 1867 da ricca famiglia d'industriali e banchieri ebrei, figlio di Emilio (v.). Il giovane Walther studiò fisica con Helmholtz, filosofia con Dilthey e si laureò in ingegneria nel 1889.
Walther Rathenau (* 29. September 1867 in Berlin; † 24. Juni 1922 ebenda) war ein deutscher Industrieller, Schriftsteller und liberaler Politiker ( DDP ). Während des Ersten Weltkrieges beteiligte er sich an der Organisation der Kriegswirtschaft und setzte sich für einen „ Siegfrieden “ ein.
