When the letter (with loads of cash in it) is picked up by a woman whose name is also Jane Turner, both the cops and the robbers are on her trail.

Synopsis by Hal Erickson. Wanted: Jane Turner was inspired by an actual robbery-murder case of 1926. A gang of thieves use the Post Office's general-delivery service to pick up and send out their ill-gotten gains. To throw the cops off the scent, the crooks have established a P.O. box under the fictional name of "Jane Turner."
