Westminster is a city in western Orange County, California, United States. Westminster was founded in 1870 by Rev. Lemuel Webber as a Presbyterian temperance colony and was incorporated in 1957.

Westminster is located at 34°39′59″N 83°5′43″W (34.666292, -83.095352). [10] According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.4 square miles (8.9 km 2 ), all land. Located in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Westminster is surrounded by several rivers, 150 waterfalls, and two major lakes.
