  2. Terrorism and organized crime aren't the same thing. While terrorism is, strictly, criminal, it is violence done for a political motive (or other ideology, e.g. religious, nationalistic, etc.). Organized crime almost always refers to organizations that exist to make money, albeit through illicit and illegal means.
